My secret? Well, I think it is actually no secret. Anyone who has enough any motivation to learn the language and it is not afraid to work hard to reach his goals, would be able to achieve what I have. However there are some pointers which would probably be useful for you.
There are four skills in learning a language: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Listening is the easiest skill to master, and writing is the hardest. Each of those four skills has a different way of learning. For instance, if you want to excel in speaking English, you should take a different path of learning than if you want to be able to write well in the language. Listening and speaking, However, are tightly connected to each other, so are reading and writing.
